DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Director of Services Operations, the Services Business Analyst will support corporate goals and objectives by providing analytical leadership through reporting, analysis, and actionable recommendations. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses a broad understanding of business goals and has had experience in an operations environment. This position will provide primary operations support to the Director of Subscription Services as well as support, and/or lead, other key initiatives within the Services organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to, and distribute as necessary, requests for reports from internal customer organizations.
- In conjunction with Director of Subscription Services, review and identify areas of improvement within existing reporting packages and business processes.
- Work with Services Release Coordinator in quarterly release testing efforts.
- Develops functional specifications and report design specifications.
- Lead or support ad hoc projects, assignments and implementations as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 - 3 years of strategic analysis job experience required
- Experience with, and understanding of, project management processes and tools
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) preferred
- Excellent understanding of operational concepts and operational modeling capabilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
- Knowledge of Siebel business systems, including Siebel Analytics, is a plus
- Ability to communicate (oral, written and numerical) to all levels of the organization
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues independently
- Manages multiple projects with a keen attention to detail
- Meets and manages deadlines effectively
- Self-motivated and self-directed, with a positive attitude
- Accepts responsibility, accountability and takes pride in his/her work
