Research Associate
The first step toward promoting your product as a SolidWorks Solution, Certified Gold, or Certified CAM Product is to become a Research Associate.
Who can apply?
- Companies that have, or plan to have, a product for sale to the DS SolidWorks product user community and can provide a customer references. DS SolidWorks Value-Added Resellers cannot apply for SolidWorks Partner Programs.
Note: This level is meant to initiate the process of becoming a SolidWorks Certified Partner, and is limited to a two year timeframe.
How to apply:
- Click here to fill out and return the Research Associate Application.
- When we have approved your application, we will email you the Research Associate License Agreement for you to sign and return to SolidWorks.
Research Associate benefits:
- Depending on which DS SolidWorks product you wish to integrate with, you will receive a copy of the latest version of our software product(s) to use during the research and development on your SolidWorks-compatible product.
- You will receive a user name and password to access the Partner Program Secure Partner Desktop—a secure Web site that contains marketing and technical resources for Partners.
- You will have access to the SolidWorks Application Programming Interface (API) support group for assistance as you develop your product.
