Established in 1994 in Bangalore, India, as a retrofitting and technology upgrade services provider, Cimtrix Systems Pvt. Ltd. became a leading manufacturer in the Indian automation industry. Today it is the largest supplier of armature winding machines in India. Cimtrix is also a significant solution provider, in India and around the world, of coordinate metrology equipment, along with several other products and services.
Cimtrix designers and engineers have used SOLIDWORKS® solutions to develop the company’s products since 2007. Cimtrix needed a solution to improve internal and external communication and collaboration to support its global growth. It also required a product lifecycle management system to track and manage projects and revision control. Cimtrix added 3DEXPERIENCE Works® to its SOLIDWORKS implementation in January 2023.
