Powerflex Leverages SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Works for Digital Transformation

Powerflex is an Italian company offering advanced engineering services in design, environmental qualification, and manufacturing. Their innovative, turnkey solutions safely handle, transport, and store sensitive electronics for electromedical, aerospace, seismic, defense, energy, railway, and other industries. The company’s products range from wire rope isolators and rubber mounts to ICT racks and containers, all equipped with mechanical isolators for total protection from shock and vibration.

Primary engineering services include mechanical and electrical design, advanced structural and thermal finite element analysis, vibroacoustic measurements, and signal analysis. Its environmental lab includes a host of real-world physical force testing, including compression, thermal, vibration, drop, acoustical, and more.

Over the past 25 years, starting from the production of metal cable shock absorbers and mechanics for the isolation of electronic and electromechanical equipment, the company has massively strengthened its internal R&D design, production, and testing, broadening its range of interests with a dynamic approach aimed at innovation.
