The result—the Raptee T30 motorcycle—redefines performance standards for electric two-wheelers with a top speed of 80+ mph and a 120+ mile range. While our designers and engineers initially used other software, overtime we transitioned predominantly to SOLIDWORKS software. Then, in early2024, we began using the expanded solutions on the cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform and fully integrated our operations into the SOLIDWORKS ecosystem. ... Speeding to Market
Raptee leveraged SOLIDWORKS Simulation capabilities to cut the T30’s development timeline by nearly a third. The company also cut development costs by 20 to 30 percent and prototyping costs by 25 percent while reducing the number of prototyping iterations. SOLIDWORKS also helped the team optimize the design based on the manufacturing process used.
