Advancing Technology
Before learning about the cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE® platform via their SOLIDWORKS® reseller, TEKYAZ, SAYRA managed its design data through its internal network server. According to R&D Engineer Oğuzhan Çakmak, this caused revision management, performance, and delivery problems. “The platform made it much easier to manage data and all our revisions—whether major or minor—are automatically named and saved by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, making it easy to access each version quickly,” reports Çakmak. “Another reason for using the platform was the ease of accessing our data securely from computers, tablets, or even phones [which was enabled] by moving our data to the cloud.”
Çakmak recounts that the engineering team quickly adapted to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform thanks to the training, business process analyses, and implementation provided by the TEKYAZ team that continues to provide solutions for all of SAYRA’s needs.
