Dr. Sangbin Yim developed the single-module PingPong open platform cube-shaped robot, and later founded Roborisen Co. Ltd. in 2017. Each robot cube has its own controller, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, origin sensor, stepper motor, servo motor interface, and battery, so the PingPong robotic system enables students (or adults looking for a fun and innovative toy) to learn by creating, assembling, building, and controlling hundreds of single-device types of robots. Students can use various types of links that connect cubes to other cubes to mimic the motions of humans and animals.
