The licenses will be valid up to 365 days, beginning from the first date of activation. If your current Student Edition license has expired, contact your school/university to issue you a free home use license of SOLIDWORKS. 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers runs on Windows and can work offline for up to 30 days before syncing online. This flexibility allows you to design at any time, even without an internet connection, and seamlessly update your files once you reconnect.

Yes. Both SOLIDWORKS for Makers packages make it easy to design parts for 3D printing, from simple repairs to detailed hobby builds. You can export your models as STL files and prepare them with any slicer software for printing.

Yes, you can use SOLIDWORKS Design when you are not connected to the internet. You can work offline for a limited period of time without connecting to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform with the Work Offline command. You can work offline for 30 consecutive days maximum. In addition, if you lose your internet connection during a design session, just save your work locally, restart SOLIDWORKS Design, and you will be automatically working in Offline Mode.

Yes, resellers can disable a customer’s license through the Activation Manager. 

Yes. SOLIDWORKS recommends that resellers encourage and assist SolidNetWork License customers to create an internal support team responsible for coordinating support efforts with the reseller. It is in the best interest of both the reseller and the customer to "limit" the number of users contacting the reseller to the number of concurrent licenses purchased.

No, The SNL can only float SOLIDWORKS Licenses and those of SOLIDWORKS supplied add-in products, such as PhotoWorks, FeatureWorks, Animator etc.

Yes, customers can have a combination of standalone and SNL licenses

Yes, your reseller can discuss the agreements and fees required to convert standalone licenses to an SNL.
