Service Packs provide updates to a major version for known problems. . Hotfixes* Hotfixes address business-critical issues that typically affect a small number of users and are distributed upon request. They are created only for the most recent service pack of releases that are within their SP Download/Hotfix End Date as defined in the Product Life Cycle table below.
Hotfixes are only considered for the most recently available service pack release.
