The tester software will retry to connect for ~2 minutes. If the connection is still not available, an error message will be displayed and a TXT file will be saved on your desktop. The name of the file is: Tangix_TesterPro_Error_Date_Time.

If your original device is no longer working and you're unable to deactivate the license, you can install the Student Edition on a second machine. This second activation is provided as a courtesy, allowing you to get back up and running without needing to contact Support. Please note, however, that this second activation is not intended for concurrent use on both machines – which would be considered a violation of the Terms of Service.

Yes, your company’s Security Administrator as defined in DSx.CLIENT CARE & ORDER or your Partner (VAR/Reseller) can add all 100 contacts to your company’s DSx.Client site and those users can access the subscription benefits once they have created their 3DEXPERIENCE ID.

1. Uninstall the non-genuine software from your machine
2. Replace it with a SOLIDWORKS Genuine software
3. Report the suspected non-compliant reseller, marketplace or website where you bought the non-genuine software

If for any reason you get disconnected, the platform will preserve your session for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you will be given a new instance and any unsaved work will be lost.

This error is related to the installation of prerequisite VC++ components. To troubleshoot the issue, try reinstallation of VC++ components manually:

1.  Go to Start > User Account > User Account Control Settings. Set it to “Never Notify”. Restart the system
2.  Login as administrator
3.  Uninstall VC++ redistributable components (2008 and 2010 and 2012, 2013, 2015) from Programs and Features
4.  Restart the computer
5.  Login as administrator
6.  Reinstall: VC++ 2008 and 2010 and 2012, 2013, 2015

   2. b. downloaded files\prereqs\VCRedist10\vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.exe

Our AI models are exclusively trained on proprietary Dassault Systèmes data and curated synthetic datasets. All cloud-based AI features run on enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Yes — access to SOLIDWORKS AI tools is included with your current SOLIDWORKS Design license at no additional cost. AI features such as Command Predictor, Auto-Fastener Recognition, Generative Drawings, AI-Powered Assembly Structure Generator, and What's Wrong Analysis are available within the SOLIDWORKS Design environment by default. AI Virtual Companions, focused on context and knowledge, require activation of Cloud Services, already included in your subscription. SOLIDWORKS Design with Cloud Services has the same 3D CAD functions, capabilities, and user interface as SOLIDWORKS Design. The only difference between the two is how they are purchased and deployed: SOLIDWORKS Design with Cloud Services uses a term license or perpetual license with subscription services and can be installed on one device. SOLIDWORKS Design uses a single-user license and is deployed from the cloud, allowing it to be installed on any PC. Learn more about licensing options.
